1 Most people consider Meatloaf very basic and some times even boring. Maybe so, but I can show you how to turn a plain Meatloaf in to something very special and delicious. You will need, 1-2 lbs of "Meatloaf Mix", meaning a mixture of Ground Beef, Pork, and Veal. This mixture is normally available at your Grocery store meat department. In addition, you will need 1 Pound Provolone Cheese sliced, 1-2 Packages of Frozen Spinach, 1/2 Pound of Imported Ham, sliced. 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder, 1 Teaspoon Salt, 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper, 2 Eggs, 1/4 cup of Milk, 2 Tablespoons Grated Locatelli cheese, 1 Cup Tomato sauce, 1/2 Cup of Brown Gravy, 1/2 stick of Butter.

2 Take meat mixture, place in large mixing bowl, add Eggs, Garlic Powder, Locatelli, Pepper, Salt, Milk. Mix all ingredients through meat mixture. Take a handful of well mixed meat mixture, place in casserole dish. Spread mixture out on bottom of dish, place 2 slices of ham on top of meatloaf, followed by two pieces of Provolone, basically you are layering the Meatloaf. After defrosting Frozen Spinach, place entire package of Spinach on top of cheese and ham, make sure you drain and pat dry the spinach to remove excess water. Continue with layering cheese, ham, etc, until entire contents are used.

3 Take remaining meatloaf mix and place evenly on top of spinach and layered cheese & ham. Smooth out and form into the shape of a meatloaf make sure all cheese and contents inside the meatloaf are covered. Finally place about 3 Tablespoons of Tomato sauce on top of meatloaf, followed by about 1/2 cup of Brown Gravy, spread out on top of meatloaf. Bake in a 350 degree pre-heated oven. Bake approximately 60-75 minutes. Remove from oven, add additional gravy on top if desired. Cool for about 15 minutes, slice and serve.
